First Steps

for toddlers 18-36 months old, together with a parent or caregiver
First Steps is a 30 minute class that meets once a week.

In this class, parents help their toddlers explore the relationship between rhythm and movement through music-based play. Though dancers in First Steps are welcome to wear traditional dancewear to class, there is no required dress code for dancers or their cooperating adults in First Steps. Any comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement may be worn. As no street shoes are allowed in the studio, we recommend that parents and their dancers wear either ballet shoes or socks to class.

To enroll in First Steps, please visit our registration page.
