Emma Thomas- Ballet (RAD RTS), Pointe

Emmarentia is a South African born dancer. Her love for dance started at the age of six when her grandparents introduced her to ballet. She studied dance at the University of Cape Town and graduated in 1994. She has studied all forms of dance, including Ballet, Contemporary, African dance, Spanish dance, and European dance. She has more than 24 years’ experience as a dance instructor, and loves sharing her knowledge with her students. Her skill set has seen her travel and teach all ages and levels at a wide variety of dance schools. She is also a Royal Academy of Dance registered teacher. The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is an international teacher education and awarding body for classical ballet. Emma moved to Chicago in 2000 to teach at the Chicago School of Ballet. She hopes to instill in her students a passion for, enjoyment from, and love of dance.
