FREE Community Workshops
Hyde Park School of Dance is committed to making dance accessible. As part of our efforts to bring dance of all kinds to our community, once a year we offer a series of free workshops for adults and families on a number of ballroom and social dances. With world-class instructors and a fun variety of focuses, our free community workshops are a great way for beginners to get a taste of why dance is so fun! This year, HPSD's workshops are also a fun opportunity to get ready for our Let's Dance! gala fundraiser on April 1. Learn more about Let's Dance! here!
COMING UP!
Escape the chill of a Midwestern spring and join us in the studio for a little Caribbean heat! Erin Barnett, HPSD Jazz instructor and Broadway veteran, will lead beginners and dancefloor divas alike in the shimmies, leg work, arm work, and isolations that, when set to a clave rhythm, combine to create what we call Salsa.
