Brown Bag Lunch Chat: LEVEL EVALUATIONS
Saturday, May 11, 2019, 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm

Pack yourself a lunch and join August for a Brown Bag Lunch Chat on the topic of Level Evaluations!
Every spring, HPSD holds Level Evaluation Classes for dancers in ballet and modern classes (levels 1 and up). Level evaluation classes are a free group class for dancers from every class across a given level after the end of the regular session. The purpose of level evaluation classes is to give the instructors an opportunity to gauge the entire level at once to make promotion considerations. Over the course of the summer, instructors prepare their individualized feedback for each and every student in level 1 or higher, and issue a level recommendation for the coming fall. Level evaluation classes help your child's instructors get even more specific in the feedback they're able to include in your child's end of year level recommendation. Still not sure what level evaluations are all about? Then you really won't want to miss our last Brown Bag Lunch Chat of the session on Level Evaluations!

Brown Bag Lunch Chats are sponsored by the Hyde Park School of Dance Parent Action Committee. For more information about the HPSD PAC, please contact execdirector@hydeparkdance.org.
