Aislinn McGhee Hassrick holds a B.S. in Dance from Drexel University.
Aislinn discovered her love and passion for dance in Chicago at the Hyde Park School of Dance, beginning at age 4 in creative movement classes, later focusing on ballet, modern, jazz and choreography. While at HPSD, she was a Tygo Next Generation Trainee (TNGT) and showcased her first choreography piece at age 14, titled UDO (Unidentified Dancing Objects) in the Dance Chicago Showcase. She performed for HPSD community outreach and as a stage dancer for the Chicago Operettas.
When Aislinn relocated to New York, she furthered her training at Westchester Ballet Company and at the Logrea Dance Academy, where she participated as a company member and studied at ABT and Alvin Ailey as a summer intensive student.
In Philadelphia, Aislinn enrolled in the Philadelphia High School of Creative and Performance Arts as a Dance major and trained at the Rock School of Dance and Koresh Dance before being accepted at Drexel University. There she studied modern, post modern and improvisational dance techniques. In her final year in Philadelphia, Aislinn interned as a trainee with Philadanco’s 2nd company.
